Barging Through: Delivering Over 300 Tons of Vessels
Deep South was contracted to barge and transport cold boxes, pressure vessels, and bullet tanks. The seven cold boxes were transported using 44 lines of Scheuerle SPMTs in various configurations. Ranging upwards of 166’ long, 25’ wide, and 26’ high, the cold boxes weighed in at over 505,000 pounds.
Eight pressure vessels and four bullet tanks were also transported with a combination of Goldhofer PST-SL-E’s and 10’-wide Scheuerle 9-axle highway trailers. The vessel weights in this project extended up to approximately 249,000 pounds.
