PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare invoices that will be sent to customers for the Department Supervisor to review
• Confirm customer invoices are created with accurate information, and all entries are reviewed
• Address and respond to client billing issues (such as billable hours, crane rental invoices, etc.)
• Provide status updates to the Accounting Controller and Department Supervisor on receivables that are outstanding
• Assist the Accounts Receivable department with daily tasks or special projects
• Work with field management to verify employee attendance, work assignments, and other client billing related issues
• Responsible for the full range of accounting functions, processing high volume both efficiently and accurately

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or other closely related degree preferred
• At least 1-2 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable in the construction industry, will consider additional experience in lieu of a degree
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required, specifically Excel
• Demonstrate a strong knowledge of accounting principles
• Possesses a high degree of ownership and attention to detail
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, project management and communication skills
• Must be a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment but also able to work independently to meet deadlines
