Deep South Crane & Rigging, LLC is accepting resumes to fill an Accounting Intern position at the Corporate Office in Baton Rouge, LA. This position is not for course credit.

Our Corporate office is in Baton Rouge, LA, with other offices located in Luling, LA, Dequincy, LA, Lake Charles, LA, Beaumont, TX, Houston, TX, and Ashland, KY. Interested? APPLY HERE!

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Provide general administrative support to the Accounting Departments
• Assist with invoice processing, payment documentation, and account reconciliations
• Help to organize and maintain accounting records and supporting documentation
• Preparing reports, audits, and other financial information
• Review documents for accuracy and completeness
• Assist with special projects and other accounting-related duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or other closely related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required, specifically Excel
• Demonstrate a basic knowledge of accounting principles
• Possesses a high degree of ownership and attention to detail
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, project management and communication skills
• Must be a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment but also able to work independently to meet deadlines
